  Inactive ones are bloodguilty?

  i've been thinking about brother morris' statement at the zone meeting this past weekend that inactive ones are bloodguilty.

  bloodguilt is defined as "guilty of murder or manslaughter.

  " murder is #1 on the list of disfellowshipping offenses- all they would have to do is change the wording from "murder" to "bloodguilt" and suddenly there you have grounds to disfellowship anyone who's inactive.

  I wonder how many hours brother Morris did last month. Now to his credit he didn't bullshit and say he did 40 hours in the service. But my guess is ZERO.

  a while ago laika came to visit.

  we went to town and low and behold the jw trolleys were there doing their thing.. we approached the brother and i introduced laika, the brother was polite.

  i then went on to tell him that it was too difficult for me to return and be reinstated.

  Muslim refuses to stand for the National Anthem

  cleveland cavaliers basketball player dion waiters stayed in the locker-room during the national anthem at a recent game.

  asked why he responded 'i am rededicating myself to my muslim faith'.

  another basketball player recently refused to stand for the anthem while on the court and was fined by the nba, dion chose to remain in the locker-room.. have you heard of followers of islam refusing to stand for the national anthem or to say the pledge of allegiance on religious grounds.. .

  i have heard of J.Ws refusing to stand for the national anthem or pledge of alligence.

  And agree or not isn't such freedom of speech what the great war was all about?

  I am ashamed i never used to wear a poppy....but i wear a poppy now, and do not judge those that dont.

  Kate, the best way to witness to a witness is for them to see you have smiles and laughter in your life....and i would add i am glad you are moving on with your life ....maybe full revovery is when you ignor the J.W trolly?

  I HATE vets

  took one of my cats to the vet two weeks ago, she gets dermatitis from flea bites and although she gats flea treatment every four weeks the skin problem flares up about every two years.

  so i asked for her usual steroid tablets which clear it up in about a week but no this young vet about 25 thought she should have a steroid injection and an antibiotic.

  didn't work and she's much worse.. went back today and another vet said can't give you the tablets because the injection is still in her system and lasts 6 weeks.

  May i add, love or hate vets, a well researched INSURANCE policy for pet " medical bills" is sensible.

  My Muslim friend's and the Koran.

  in another thread i raised the point " there are moderate muslims but their is no moderate islam".

  now i must face the fact i have muslim friends who say they believe the koran.. well i have asked these muslim friends, if they have investigated the origins of the koran.

  they have answerd " yes".

  I think returning three days later, this is a good thread.

  I think my Muslim friends and i are friends because deeper emotions than religious " ideology" exist .

  What emotions?

  Love, joy. sorrow, football.

  We are people who live " within ourselfs" and our inherited faith is of little value.

  But how does the mind become strayed to silly thoughts?

  Did we as witnesses convert anyone with the bible?

  Only when life is boaring and without hope do most become " exstreme"

  But any " ideolgy" is open to conversion if governments of that land give it free speech......opinions welcome.
